Because depression can make people feel alone, having a Support Partner—someone you can lean on and be honest with—can make a real difference. A Support Partner is simply someone who wants to help a friend or loved one with depression.

A Support Partner could be a:

  • Family member
  • Friend
  • Coworker
  • Neighbor
  • Spiritual leader
  • Someone else

Support may take many forms. The first step is to start talking to get an idea of what kind of support is best. The Support Partners program offers tools to help build successful partnerships.
